
Help boost your immune system with some spice!
Homemade pakora and leftover dahl.
INGREDIENTS-
1 finely chopped Potato (sweet or white)
Lots of fresh chopped ginger
Half teaspoon of Cayenne pepper
2-3 tablespoons of Frozen peas
Half teaspoon of Cumin seeds
Juice of half a lemon
handful of fresh coriander
Cardamom seeds
2-3 cloves of Garlic
Finely chopped Onion
Teaspoon of chia seeds (optional)
Coconut oil for frying
Cup of Gram flour
Level teaspoon of grey celtic or pink Himalayan salt
METHOD-
Chop and mix all ingredients together and add to the flour.
Add the lemon juice and a little water if needed to combine everything. Consistency should neither be too runny or dry.
Leave to stand for around 15 mins to absorb flavours. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
Heat the oil in a shallow pan and fry in a fairly hot temperature until golden brown.
Enjoy as a healthy snack with left over curry or make a dip with live yogurt and mint.
